About Center for Change Idaho

Center for Change Idaho offers a Day Treatment (PHP) program and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adolescents and adults of all genders who are dealing with eating disorders. These services are meant for people who do not require inpatient care, but who still need a higher level of support, structure, and clinical attention than what standard outpatient treatment provides.

The PHP focuses on addressing the eating disorder directly, reducing the risk of relapse, strengthening body image, setting personal goals, working through fears, and completing important social, vocational, and educational tasks. Participants work through individual therapy, family sessions, nutrition counseling, experiential and psychoeducational groups, as well as therapeutic meals and snacks, giving them a chance to practice the coping skills they learn in a secure setting.

The IOP provides more frequent, time-efficient treatment while allowing clients to continue their everyday responsibilities, including school or work. Sessions include individual therapy, dietary counseling, family involvement, daily group therapy, and ongoing goal planning.

Treatment is provided in a beautifully restored home located in Boise, Idaho, in the historic Hyde Park District within the North End neighborhood. Center for Change Idaho is supported by a compassionate team and a safe, welcoming atmosphere designed to support long-term recovery.
