About Brick House Recovery

Brick House Recovery states that it is the only Higher Power-based treatment center serving the Boise area. A key part of their 12-Step program is helping each person build a meaningful relationship with a higher power. The center works with clients of many different faiths and spiritual traditions. Rather than prescribing beliefs, they ask clients to explore their own connection and grow that relationship in a way that fits their spirituality.

Treatment at Brick House Recovery begins with a month of Day Treatment (PHP). This phase supports proper identification of needs and helps clients move smoothly into the next level of care. PHP runs five days per week and provides at least 20 hours of treatment weekly. Each client starts with a comprehensive intake that includes psychosocial, medical, clinical, and psychiatric evaluations. From there, clients transition into structured support that may include participation from family members, involvement in 12-Step support groups, and regular therapy sessions. After PHP, clients move into an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for at least three months. During IOP, clients attend group therapy at least three days or nights per week, along with one weekly individual therapy session, for a minimum of nine treatment hours each week. After completing IOP, clients enter two months of aftercare, which includes one group meeting per week, individual sessions when needed, and alumni check-ins.

Brick House Recovery continues supporting clients long-term to help them sustain recovery. If someone needs further assistance after treatment and still qualifies medically, they can access additional care at no extra cost.

Brick House Recovery is private pay and works in-network with multiple major insurance providers.
