CaringWorks Hope House is a residential rehabilitation center with 70 beds, designed to offer a stable setting for people working toward recovery from substance use and mental health conditions. The program helps participants stay sober, learn practical life skills, build dependable employment options, and establish a supportive and healthy social circle. Services at Hope House are designed for those who experience both substance use and mental health challenges, including conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder. Residents can access coordinated care that includes health and wellness programming, one-on-one and group addiction counseling, nursing evaluations, nutrition education, medication oversight, and assistance with job training and job search activities. Men may remain in the program for as long as two years and receive three meals each day.
To participate, applicants must be male, at least 18 years old, currently homeless, and require both substance abuse treatment and mental health and recovery support. Eligibility requires documentation showing medical clearance from a physician, a record of mental health history or co-occurring disorders, tuberculosis and rapid plasma reagin testing verification, and proof of insurance. Hope House staff assist individuals in obtaining the needed paperwork.
