About Thrive IRC Inc
Thrive IRC, previously known as Substance Awareness Center, is dedicated to strengthening communities by combining prevention initiatives, educational resources, and recovery-oriented support. The center provides a range of services including prevention programming, day treatment, outpatient care, recovery housing, and a family-focused program designed for people supporting those affected by substance use disorders. Thrive IRC also conducts drug testing through its Vero Beach and Sabastian office locations.
Thrive IRC employs certified peer recovery specialists who use their own experiences to help others build and sustain recovery. These peers offer guidance, instruction, and positive reinforcement to support participants in staying active in their recovery journey. In addition, the center runs a structured recovery housing program that allows residents to live in a caring, recovery-supportive environment while working on practical life skills and employment readiness.
The Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) program provides free assistance to family members and loved ones of individuals with substance use disorders. It teaches participants effective strategies for supporting their loved ones while also protecting their own health and stability.
