About Augustine Recovery Center
Near St. Augustine Beach, The Augustine Recovery Center focuses on helping people achieve lasting recovery from addiction in a secure, encouraging setting. The center offers gender-specific residential treatment, medically supervised detox, and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). The Augustine Recovery Center recognizes that men and women may experience different triggers for substance use, and that effective treatment often requires tailored therapies and coping strategies. For this reason, they provide separate programs designed to support long-term sobriety. The center recommends a minimum 90-day stay to promote the best outcomes and to finish all 12 steps. Their services include trauma-focused therapy, group counseling, life skills training, animal therapy, horticulture therapy, and family therapy. The Augustine Recovery Center also holds ongoing AA and NA meetings on site.
Set on 9 acres of beautiful waterfront property, The Augustine Recovery Center is located on a spacious, family-style campus. Clients can use comfortable indoor lounge spaces, enjoy an outdoor pool, and spend time in gardens and on walking trails. The center also organizes activities such as yoga, surfing, paddle boarding, and hiking. In addition, personal training is available for clients six days per week. They aim to build a supportive, community-oriented environment, so many group events, activities, and meals are shared together. The Augustine Recovery Center accepts a variety of private insurance plans.
