About Operation PAR Inc
Operation PAR Medication Assisted Patient Services Hernando is situated close to Kass Circle in Spring Hill, just west of Mariner Boulevard, about 1.5 miles from U.S. Highway 19. The program provides support for adults and adolescents dealing with alcohol, opioid, and other substance use concerns, including those who also experience mental health conditions.
Operation PAR has been offering addiction and mental health prevention, early intervention, and treatment since 1970. Each client receives an individualized recovery plan that may include medications such as methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone, along with structured therapeutic services. Participants take part in both one-on-one and group counseling, relapse prevention, and training focused on life skills. Treatment staff use evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to help clients recognize their behaviors and develop practical strategies for lasting change.
In addition to core services, specialty support includes pregnancy-related care through their Medication Assisted Patient Services and the option to receive therapy via telehealth. Prevention efforts include addiction-focused workshops, parenting education, and school-based programs designed to equip adolescents with early intervention resources, as well as risk education. Together, these programs strengthen support for families and young people while encouraging healthy growth and sustained recovery across the community.
