Advent Health Hope and Healing Center
212 Eslinger Way, Sanford, FL 32773
Located just north of Orlando, AdventHealth's Hope and Healing Center helps men and women recover from alcohol and drug addiction, including opioid dependence. The center accepts adult patients who choose to enter treatment themselves, and it does not require a referral.
AdventHealth's Hope and Healing Center provides two main options: a 30-day residential program and an intensive outpatient (IOP) program lasting about 4 to 6 weeks. In both tracks, participants receive individual and group counseling, along with relapse prevention planning.
In the residential program, residents receive support around the clock and receive more than 10 hours of therapy each week. The residential offerings include therapies such as music therapy, family therapy, yoga, financial planning, and resume assistance.
The IOP option can be used as a step-down after residential care or can begin directly following detox. This track focuses more on group sessions, with Advent delivering group therapy for approximately 3 hours per day, three days each week.
AdventHealth also designed the facility to feel welcoming and distinct from a hospital environment, with dedicated outdoor space included.
Also confirm the facility is licensed by Florida. If you are withdrawing from alcohol or benzodiazepines, ask about medical detox; do not stop suddenly on your own.
AdventHealth Hope & Healing Center did not report which payment types it accepts. If you have Medicaid, ask whether the facility accepts your Florida Medicaid plan or can refer you to one that does. Most private plans must cover substance use treatment on terms comparable to other medical care under federal parity law.
