About Lakeview Center Inc

Lakeview Center’s Meridian program delivers inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents ages 7 through 17 who face serious emotional and behavioral difficulties. As a statewide residential service, it provides round-the-clock monitoring and intensive support for Medicaid-eligible youth who need consistent, structured treatment in a secure setting.

The program is trauma-informed, taking into account each child’s individual history and responses. Using a multidisciplinary team, it applies evidence-based psychotherapeutic strategies to help children manage emotional triggers and strengthen mental health. These interventions also aim to lower the likelihood of substance misuse by building coping skills and healthier routines.

While living at the program, residents receive continuous supervision in a safe, community-based environment. Meridian focuses on maintaining structure to support healing and personal progress, helping children work toward stability and move toward fuller, more connected lives with their families and communities.
