About The Renfrew Center Orlando

The Renfrew outpatient eating disorder treatment center was created to provide a welcoming environment for adolescent girls, women, transgender women, and non-binary individuals across Florida. The center delivers evidence-based treatment for those seeking help, and it also supports clients’ families. Its day treatment program is designed for individuals who are transitioning from residential care or who need a more flexible program with clear structure. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers a higher level of care for people who require more support than standard outpatient services. For clients who prefer weekly assistance, the outpatient program provides ongoing individual, family, or group therapy.

Day treatment runs five days per week and includes group and individual therapy, medication management, psychiatric evaluation, two meals and snacks each day, nutrition therapy, expressive therapies, and psychoeducation. The IOP meets three times weekly and includes nutrition consultation, group therapy, psychiatric services, one meal per day, and psychoeducation. At Renfrew, clients can find encouragement from others who understand what they are going through. Treatment is tailored to each person, with attention to related conditions such as trauma and substance use. All three outpatient options can be completed virtually when convenient for clients.
