Recovery Connections of Central Florida (RCCF) is a nonprofit Recovery Community Organization (RCO) in Orlando that helps individuals and families impacted by substance use disorders. RCCF creates a supportive, comfortable space where people can consider different options for recovery and find encouragement from others who understand. Through peer-based assistance, the organization promotes strength, self-improvement, and lasting well-being. RCCF provides multiple free resources, including a 24/7 peer support hotline at 407-RECOVER, peer recovery coaching, and mutual aid support groups at its two Recovery Community Centers in Orlando and Longwood. These offerings are tailored to meet each person’s specific situation, helping participants move forward in their recovery with greater assurance. RCCF also takes a whole-person approach, supporting emotional, social, and practical needs alongside substance use treatment. A key factor in RCCF’s impact is its inclusive outlook—welcoming all recovery journeys and placing peer-led support at the center. Many staff members bring personal lived recovery experience, which helps create a caring and respectful atmosphere. RCCF’s focus on making support easy to access and personal to each individual makes it an important source of guidance and hope for residents of Central Florida.
