About Groups Recover Together

Since 2014, Groups Recover Together has broadened outpatient treatment availability across the country. The Lakeland facility is one of 12 centers located in Florida and delivers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder in a supportive, community-focused atmosphere. The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and provides adaptable scheduling to align with each person’s recovery schedule.

Treatment starts with FDA-approved Suboxone, which helps lessen withdrawal symptoms and cravings. It is complemented by weekly group therapy sessions that cover areas such as anger management and practical coping skills. Clients also benefit from trauma-informed, individualized guidance from qualified substance use counselors, recovery support specialists, and clinical staff. The intake process is streamlined and may be completed virtually, helping connect individuals to medical evaluations, ongoing medication support, and peer resources to promote continuity of care.

Along with face-to-face visits, the center includes a mobile application to extend services remotely. Through arranged video sessions, group programming, and secure messaging, people can receive structured virtual support that reinforces MAT and encourages peer connection while maintaining strong clinical results.
