About APT Foundation Inc
APT Access Center provides walk-in support for people dealing with substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. Services include group, individual, and family therapy, medication management, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). In addition to addiction and mental health care, APT Access Center also offers primary care. The center provides an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that runs three days each week and includes at least nine hours weekly of group therapy, individual counseling, and psychiatric consultation.
APT Access Center uses trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). Clients may join daily groups covering a variety of topics, including trauma, relapse prevention, psychoeducation, goal setting, acupuncture, gardening, meditation, mindfulness, and more. MAT is available using methadone and buprenorphine, with psychiatrists overseeing medication needs and supporting dose and adjustment decisions. When appropriate, therapy can be provided through telehealth, including during public health emergencies. APT Access Center also offers family and couples therapy to help clients work toward their relationship and mental health goals.
APT Foundation has supported substance use treatment since 1970, with a commitment to providing care regardless of ability to pay. Through an open access approach, walk-in clients are accepted regardless of financial situation.
