The Steward House at Silver Hill was established through a partnership with Yale New Haven Health and the Yale School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry. The treatment process starts with an in-depth bio-psycho-social evaluation. Clients engage in medication management and therapeutic support from the program psychiatrist. Offerings include both individual and group therapy, family counseling, wellness programs, and self-help groups. Daily schedules are thoughtfully structured, blending organized activities with free time for contemplation or relaxation. Over the weekends, the programming becomes more laid-back, incorporating chapel services, wellness sessions, and family interactions.
Situated in Canaan, Connecticut, the Steward House is nestled on a picturesque 44-acre wooded property.
