About Healthcare Resource Centers
Health Care Resource Centers (HCRC), previously known as Community Substance Abuse Centers, focuses on providing assistance to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. They utilize medication-assisted treatment (MAT), particularly methadone, to address opioid addiction effectively. HCRC fosters a supportive and accepting atmosphere, delivering customized services tailored to the distinct needs of each person. At HCRC Hartford, patients can access various resources. The center operates from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2 PM, with medication availability from Monday to Saturday, 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Individuals may qualify for Veyo transportation through the Department of Social Services, or receive complimentary bus passes. For more information on transportation options, please reach out to the center.
