About Blue Sky Behavioral Health

Blue Sky Behavioral Health offers a structured outpatient program, along with a more comprehensive therapy track. For individuals who want relief from home without needing full-time residential care, the center provides supportive independent living. This includes case management and training in practical life skills. Blue Sky Behavioral Health works with both men and women dealing with alcohol and drug addiction, as well as those who have co-occurring mental health disorders. The Day Treatment program is designed for attendance from Monday through Friday, in line with PHP requirements. The program also includes transportation so clients can safely get to and from sessions, shopping, and other necessary appointments. Upon admission, clients undergo drug screening and receive an individualized treatment plan. Each client is assigned a life coach who is available around the clock, seven days a week, offering both emotional support and help with real-world tasks. Life coaching includes assistance with budgeting and bill payments, job searching, and development of new coping and daily living skills. For people who need dual diagnosis support, medication management may be available. While program duration may differ, it commonly lasts about 30 days. Treatment is evidence-based and may include 12-Step facilitation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), EMDR, rational emotive behavior (REB), exposure and response prevention (ERP), as well as individual and group therapy. Blue Sky Behavioral Health is CARF-accredited and works with most insurance plans.

Blue Sky Behavioral Health also provides off-site housing through its residential home and apartment options. Residents have access to semi-private or private rooms, and men and women live separately in different units. The housing is fully furnished and includes amenities such as on-site laundry. Meals are not included in the program fee, so clients are responsible for grocery shopping and meal preparation. Funds for food are provided directly to the client or coordinated through the client’s life coach. Grocery shopping is completed with roommates under coaching support, including help with meal planning and healthy eating habits.
