About West Pines Behavioral Hospital

West Pines Behavioral Health provides individualized treatment for adults and seniors with substance use and mental health concerns, with care designed for different age groups. The center includes detox services and short-term inpatient programs ranging from 3 to 20 days, as well as day treatment and intensive outpatient options. In the near future, West Pines plans to expand with comprehensive inpatient and outpatient programming for adolescents ages 13 to 17.

The team delivers clinical support through approaches that focus on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Clients receive services in both one-on-one and group formats, including motivation interviewing (MI) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help people strengthen motivation, build recovery skills, and replace unhelpful thinking patterns. The program also incorporates creative and wellness-based therapies such as art, music, and yoga, giving clients supportive ways to manage and work through emotions.

West Pines offers shared accommodations, including shared rooms and bathrooms, and many rooms provide views of the Rocky Mountain foothills. Residents can also access calm courtyards and quiet areas intended for reflection and personal growth, along with a fully equipped gym to help them maintain physical activity.

West Pines emphasizes follow-through after treatment. The center provides detailed aftercare planning and helps coordinate access to the resources needed for a smoother transition back to everyday life. Individuals who want ongoing support can continue through one of the outpatient programs at a lower level of care.
