About HeartLight Center Denver-Metro

HeartLight Center is a non-profit organization offering grief support groups for people who are working through loss. The staff understands that grief affects everyone differently, so they provide focused groups designed for those who have lost a spouse, a parent, or endured a sudden and difficult, traumatic event. In addition, the center runs programs for particular communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals and young adults, to ensure each participant receives caring, relevant guidance. Meetings are facilitated by trained peer leaders and are available to anyone who is 18 or older.

HeartLight Center also hosts special workshops and community events, such as a Día de los Muertos fair and online sessions on how to cope with grief during the holidays. These activities support a whole-person approach to healing, combining cultural connection with mindfulness-based tools. Participation is free for clients because the organization is donation-funded.
