About Hazelbrook Behavioral Health

Hazelbrook Sober Living & Recovery provides a 12-week program that can be taken as intensive outpatient (IOP) or residential care for drug, behavioral, and food-related addictions. Clients may choose it on its own or use it alongside their sober living participation. Services are available in the Aurora, Colorado Springs, Denver, and Pueblo regions.

The outpatient program meets five days per week and typically blends psychotherapy sessions, relapse prevention guidance, and medication management. When clients also receive sober living through Hazelbrook, these same outpatient services can count toward the weekly therapy requirements.

Residential care is delivered through Hazelbrook’s Advanced Care Program, which adds extra weekly opportunities for group counseling and personal reflection.

Recovery support includes a variety of meeting types and activities, such as holistic health and fitness support, 12-Step Facilitation meetings, and non-12-Step groups for both drug and behavioral addictions, along with food addiction meetings. Additional offerings include Bible studies, sessions focused on self-care planning, art therapy classes, women’s groups, and men’s groups.

Hazelbrook also hosts enjoyable sober activities at the ParadigmONE dojo, including boxing, art and music classes, weightlifting, and chess. For further help, the Hazelbrook Resource Employment and Learning (R.E.A.L.) Center provides peer support and therapy to support long-term recovery.
