About Alsana Thousand Oaks - Residential

Alsana Thousand Oaks is a holistic treatment center for eating disorders located in Southern California. The program offers each client a personalized, full-spectrum treatment plan built on the Adaptive Care Model®, covering medical support, nutrition, movement, interpersonal work, and therapeutic services. By using this approach, the clinical team is better able to focus on the root causes of the eating disorder, helping ensure care is individualized and truly personal. Throughout treatment, clients take part in individual sessions, group therapy, body movement activities, nutrition counseling, family therapy, along with yoga and art therapy.

Alsana Thousand Oaks features a private, small-scale environment with six beds and around-the-clock nursing support. The boutique setting also includes outdoor lounge areas and is situated near both the mountains and the beach, creating a calming connection to nature. Meals are supported by a kitchen team that can prepare menu options according to specific dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. Clients also receive two nutrition counseling sessions each week, plus guidance and support during meals and snacks to reinforce progress during treatment.
