About Aspire Counseling Services LLC

Located in the hills and mountains surrounding Simi Valley, Aspire Counseling Services offers outpatient support for people dealing with substance use disorders (SUD), mental health concerns, and co-occurring conditions, serving both adults and adolescents.

Aspire Counseling Services delivers drug and alcohol treatment through several outpatient levels of care, focusing on intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP). Clients can access a variety of counseling options, including individual, couples, family, and group sessions for men, women, and adolescents ages 12–17. In addition to therapy, Aspire provides addiction recovery and educational groups, relapse prevention, drug and alcohol testing, crisis support, and aftercare services. Treatment is evidence-based and tailored to each person’s specific needs.

For individuals who are coping with behavioral or emotional challenges but do not need inpatient treatment or the level of care associated with a PHP setting, Aspire’s Behavioral Health IOP is designed to help stabilize symptoms in the short term while allowing participants to continue living independently. Most therapy sessions occur in small groups, meeting three times per week for three hours each day, along with individual meetings with an Aspire clinician. The program takes a holistic approach, using multiple evidence-based therapies and experiential activities such as animal therapy, art therapy, mindfulness and meditation, yoga, and music therapy.

Aspire’s PHP provides a higher-intensity, more structured psychiatric level of care for those who require more support, continuing until individuals are ready to transition to IOP programming.

Aspire’s Adolescent IOP is built for young people ages 12–17 who face substance use disorders, mental health challenges, or situations that feel overwhelming. The program is intended to be short term, helping participants stay in school and maintain a familiar daily routine. Its goal is to equip adolescents with strategies to address substance use, manage emotions, and improve self-care.
