Since 2002, the founders of Visions Treatment Center, Chris and Amanda Shumow, have centered their approach on supporting each client’s family and actively involving them from the start. Visions Adolescent Treatment Center holds Joint Commission accreditation and is affiliated with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Care at Visions blends holistic strategies, experiential therapies, and proven, evidence-based treatment options, including both individual and group services such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), family therapy, and programs focused on social and emotional development.

Visions Treatment Center also operates across Southern California, with sites in Malibu, Thousand Oaks, and Santa Monica. The 2,600-square-foot, six-bed Santa Monica location is designed to support extended living for teens after they finish their program. Parents and teens are encouraged to tour the facilities and explore the center’s dual diagnosis and teen mental health treatment services. The residential setting provides gender-specific shared rooms and housing to accommodate residents.
