About The Lotus Collaborative Santa Cruz

The Lotus Collaborative offers specialized, whole-person care for people of all genders ages 14 and older who are dealing with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma. The center has campuses in Santa Cruz and San Francisco and provides intensive outpatient services (IOP), day treatment (PHP), and one-on-one therapy in bright, welcoming environments that feel like home.

The program includes individual psychotherapy, somatic-based support, and workshops focused on different parts of trauma recovery. Treatment schedules can vary, ranging from 3 hours per day, three days a week to the highest level of care, which can run 6 to 7 hours daily, up to seven days a week. Clients participate in both individual and group therapy throughout the day, along with mindfulness practices such as Zen meditation, and nutritional counseling.

The mood and trauma IOP delivers structured support for depression, anxiety, and PTSD, with three hours each day of group therapy. Sessions are also offered online, typically on weekday evenings from Monday through Friday. The team serves adults of all genders (18+) who live in California, combining the flexibility of virtual sessions with the option to meet in person when appropriate.

The Lotus Collaborative’s eating disorder PHP is designed for individuals age 14 and up, with focused programming for adolescents and their families as well as for adults. With 5 to 7 hours of structured programming each day, this level of care supports deeper, more intensive treatment and helps participants strengthen the skills they need to stabilize their recovery.

The eating disorder IOP provides 3 or more hours of structured group and individual programming, available 3 to 7 days per week. This program helps clients develop and practice recovery skills in real-life routines, supported by a community centered on healing.
