About SHAWL Women's House
SHAWL (Support for Harbor Area Women’s Lives) is a non-profit residential rehabilitation center in San Pedro, California. The organization provides a structured four-month program for adult women who are rebuilding their lives after addiction to drugs and alcohol. Through its support, SHAWL assists women in addressing substance use, mental health difficulties, and the effects of domestic violence, while encouraging independence and long-term stability.
Participants receive a combination of individual counseling and group therapy, along with relapse prevention and life skills training.
