The Discovery House provides addiction treatment and care for co-occurring disorders outside the Los Angeles area. Their detox program for alcohol and drugs is available for up to 7 days, with inpatient treatment lasting up to 30 days, and long-term rehabilitation that can continue for up to 90 days. The center also maintains a 3:1 client-to-counselor ratio. At Discovery House, the approach focuses on the entire person—addressing mind, body, and spirit. Treatment is individualized, with a personalized plan built around each client’s specific needs, goals, preferences, and concerns. The program also includes help for loved ones through a family component, offering one-on-one counseling as well as education groups for multiple families. Discovery House further supports families with intervention services, sober escort options, and assistance with travel.

Discovery House is LegitScript Certified and accredited by Joint Commission, and emphasizes high-quality care in a home-like setting. The facility features comfortable shared spaces, lounge areas, an outdoor patio, and a pool. Programming includes 12-Step meetings, individual therapy, group therapy, and relapse prevention. Clients may also participate in holistic and experiential services such as psychodrama, music therapy, and yoga. After treatment, the center offers an alumni program and aftercare to support continued progress. They accept most private insurance plans.
