About Arrow House

The Arrow House supports adolescents aged 13 to 17 who are dealing with substance use and other mental health challenges at the same time. The center’s 30-day plan highlights active participation from families and focuses on building trust, belonging, and supportive relationships, helping teens take an important first step toward lasting recovery.

A consistent daily routine is a key element of the program. The Arrow House also integrates educational activities to help teens adjust smoothly as they move from residential care back to their everyday home life. Treatment includes dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), along with multiple group therapy options where teens can share experiences and learn from one another. Additional services may include family therapy, equine therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

Located in central Orange County, California, the residential setting of The Arrow House accommodates up to 20 teens of all genders. The home is thoughtfully designed, with semi-private bedrooms and comfortable shared spaces. With an on-site day school and a team of medical and mental health professionals, including nurses, therapists, and counselors, the program is tailored to address each teen’s needs in a balanced way.
