About Hoag Addiction Treatment Center

Hoag Neurosciences Institute’s accredited program, the Hoag Addiction Treatment Center, is the longest-running treatment center for substance use disorders in Orange County, California. Hoag delivers care through an in-house team of physician specialists, clinicians, and nursing professionals available around the clock. Each patient receives an individualized treatment plan. The residential program, known as SolMar Recovery, offers both one-on-one and group therapy, 12-Step meetings, physician consultations, and opportunities to connect with Hoag Addiction Treatment Centers alumni. In addition, Hoag provides outpatient care, medical detox, treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions, continued recovery management, and support for families. The program is grounded in the 12-Step approach.

For more than 25 years, Hoag Addiction Treatment Center has developed targeted services for working professionals, young adults, people living with chronic pain, and those with dual diagnoses. To support comprehensive care, Hoag incorporates yoga, mind-body awareness, and art therapy into patients’ schedules. The campus includes inviting shared spaces, areas for individual treatment, private and semi-private bedrooms, and access to outdoor areas and a patio. Hoag also accepts private insurance.
