MFI Recovery Murrieta Outpatient Treatment Center provides outpatient care for men, women, and teens dealing with substance use and related mental health challenges. The Murrieta Outpatient Treatment Center is located near I-215, making it easy to reach from areas including San Diego and Riverside, with the 61 bus stop available right outside the facility.
Programs are offered in a gender-specific format, along with dedicated services for adolescents. Teen treatment focuses on engaging the family, using multidimensional family therapy (MDFT), parent education, and relapse prevention, all integrated into each person’s individualized care plan.
The intensive outpatient program (IOP) draws on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) through the Matrix Model and also incorporates 12-Step facilitation. It typically includes group and family therapy, psychoeducation, and relapse prevention. Depending on the individual, services may also include eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), brainspotting, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Participants receive ongoing psychiatric oversight and medication management for co-occurring issues such as depression and anxiety, as well as support for other medical needs through primary care. IOP programming is available as full-day and full-week options.
For those who need a less intensive schedule, standard outpatient services provide 6 to 9 hours of treatment each week and may be well suited for people balancing work, family responsibilities, or other obligations.
