About Transcend Recovery Community

Transcend Recovery Community offers sober living residences and apartments across Western Los Angeles and Venice. Every house is staffed and supervised around the clock, using a 3:1 client-to-staff ratio. The program includes transportation to and from outpatient treatment appointments. Through a structured, step-by-step approach, clients build responsibility, accountability, and practical life skills, preparing them to return to independent living with the tools and confidence they need.

At Transcend Recovery Community, clients receive comfortable bedrooms and regular community experiences, including group activities around the LA area and trips to Venice Beach. Dinner is provided with chef-prepared meals. The team monitors progress through substance-use testing via urinalysis and completes routine room checks. Recovery mentors guide clients in developing coping strategies for trauma, strengthening communication abilities, and learning relapse-prevention methods, along with motivational interviewing and goal-setting support.

Transcend Recovery Community supports the move toward independence by teaching vocational and everyday skills that help clients pursue a new career, a new area of study, or fresh responsibilities. Success in sober living is recognized through gatherings for holidays, birthday celebrations, and beach outings in Venice. Families are also involved through scheduled family workshops every other month, where they receive education and coaching to help mend and strengthen relationships.

Residents can make use of on-site comforts and wellness options such as Pilates, chef-prepared meals during weekdays, and easy access to beaches as well as Los Angeles activities and culture. The center additionally provides two experiential classes each week, which may include mindfulness meditation, yoga, acupuncture, and other supportive practices. Clients are also supported in using technology appropriately as part of their recovery, helping them stay connected with friends and family while they heal.
