The Last House operates a series of sober living facilities specifically for men in Los Angeles, California. Its mission centers around creating a secure and engaging environment where individuals can discover a sense of purpose, make progress, and lay the groundwork for a life enriched by personal growth, free from substance abuse. This objective is achieved by fostering a nurturing atmosphere that includes enjoyable weekly activities. Among the options available for residents are surfing, golf, basketball, snowboarding, skiing, softball leagues, local excursions, and various group events. Participants also have the opportunity to partake in outpatient services offered at the Thrive campus, where they will undergo therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), experiential therapy, and others. The Last House features the innovative Phase Out program, aimed at assisting alumni in transitioning smoothly after their stay by ensuring that the skills and achievements gained are sustained. Additionally, case managers are on hand to guide clients through essential life skills, including budgeting, setting goals, maintaining accountability, and obtaining AA sponsorship.

The Last House boasts two upscale sober living residences located in the vibrant heart of Los Angeles. Residents will benefit from cozy living spaces complemented by fitness facilities, communal recreational areas, and outdoor enjoyment. The homes are conveniently located near beloved beaches, renowned surf locations, colleges, and various museums and cultural attractions.
