About Key Transitions

Key Transitions operates as a non-profit rehabilitation center aimed at assisting adolescents in achieving sustainable recovery from addiction, behavioral challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, and various other issues. The center focuses on empowering young individuals by enhancing their self-worth, fostering meaningful connections, and helping them discover new interests. Programs are tailored for teenagers and young adults aged 13 to 30. Their offerings include Teen Outpatient services, Teen Transitional Living, and a Mentoring Program specifically for teens and young adults, each designed to provide personalized care for those in need. The intensive outpatient program involves family participation, offering education and mentorship to support the restoration of family bonds. A range of therapies, including individual counseling, group sessions, art and music therapy, surf therapy, and yoga, are integrated into the treatment.

Key Housing, a transitional living initiative, serves male teens aged 14 to 17, providing a supportive living environment where young men can receive guidance to address mental health and addiction challenges while also concentrating on life skills and educational pursuits.

The mentoring initiative at Key Transitions is available for individuals aged 13 to 35, matching mentors with mentees based on shared interests, personality traits, and relevant backgrounds. Mentors provide guidance at home and within the community, assisting with academic pursuits, resume enhancement, and overall goal achievement.

Key Transitions stands out as an exceptional program, staffed by a dedicated team of experienced professionals committed to positively impacting the lives of adolescents, young adults, and their families.
