About Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles Valley Storefront

Located on Victory Boulevard close to the Hollywood Freeway in North Hollywood, Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles (JFSLA) Valley Storefront Community Resource Center helps adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use. The center provides individual counseling, case management, and medication monitoring, either in person or through telehealth, and it offers support in multiple languages. Programming is also designed for older adults and individuals with disabilities, including wellness classes and opportunities for social engagement.

At JFSLA Valley Storefront Community Resource Center, treatment is centered on one-on-one psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and telemedicine or telehealth counseling. The organization also offers family psychoeducation, psychosocial rehabilitation, and case management to support mental health in a manner that aligns with each person’s objectives, personal experiences, and cultural identity.

People with special needs can participate in support groups, work with case managers, and strengthen practical everyday abilities through their Special Needs Life Skills Program. This program includes creative projects, chances to volunteer, and community outings. For older adults, the Arts, Wellness, and Engagement Program provides access to fitness activities, art-based sessions, and social events. The center additionally offers targeted services for survivors of domestic violence and Holocaust survivors, focusing on safety, rebuilding connections, and supporting emotional healing.
