About Harmony Place

Harmony Place has supported individuals with addiction and related mental health challenges for more than two decades, delivering high-quality care that stays affordable. The center offers every level of treatment, including same-day admission for detox, residential programs, day treatment (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Detox is overseen by medical professionals and features round-the-clock attention from licensed nurses, as well as medication-assisted treatment (MAT), to help clients begin recovery safely and effectively.

Harmony Place follows a holistic, research-driven model that emphasizes strengths and personal potential rather than focusing only on problems. Treatment plans are tailored to each person and may include evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). In addition, clients can incorporate whole-person approaches like yoga, acupuncture, and massage to support healing in both mind and body. Programming includes individualized care, including three weekly one-on-one therapy sessions, group therapy, and couples and family counseling, along with relapse prevention education. Backed by an experienced, licensed team that includes physicians, psychiatrists, and therapists, Harmony Place provides a well-rounded setting for lasting progress.

Aftercare is also a key part of the experience. Graduates from Harmony Place can join weekly on-site alumni meetings, participate in virtual aftercare groups, and attend social events that reinforce sobriety and connection. Alumni can also mentor current residents and outpatient clients, offering support and encouragement throughout every phase of recovery. Through private online groups, positive sober activities, and mentorship options, Harmony Place helps graduates stay engaged with a supportive community and reduce the risk of relapse.

Set on a quiet private, tree-lined street in the San Fernando Valley, Harmony Place accommodates up to 12 clients per residence. Sleeping areas are gender-specific, while shared treatment and recreational spaces promote community and structure. Clients receive chef-prepared gourmet meals and access to amenities including a fitness center, swimming pool, hot tub, and a rose garden with a distinctive treehouse. A full schedule of weekly offerings such as yoga, massage, acupuncture, and outdoor adventure activities, along with features like outdoor lounges and easy access to nature, creates an environment that supports physical health and mental well-being.
