About BHS High Gain Program Westchester

Positioned just north of LAX, Behavioral Health Services High Gain Westchester provides outpatient care along with DUI and MAT programming, as well as the Recovery Incentives Program. These services are intended to help individuals move forward in their recovery. The center delivers outpatient substance abuse treatment that is customized for each person, with an emphasis on relapse prevention and on applying coping and recovery tools in everyday routines. Treatment generally spans 3 to 9 months, and session frequency varies from 1 to 5 days per week based on the individual’s requirements. The DUI Program at High Gain Westchester supports people who have been convicted of driving under the influence. It includes educational instruction, group programming, in-person interviews, and support meetings. The DUI medication assisted treatment (MAT) component adds further help for those with opioid or polysubstance use disorders, offering education, assessments, referrals to treatment, and ongoing counseling support. Behavioral Health Services High Gain Westchester also takes part in the Recovery Incentives Program, which provides Medi-Cal recipients gift cards worth up to $599 for maintaining abstinence from stimulant use. Eligibility is confirmed through negative drug test results. The initiative is designed to offer concrete motivation and rewards to reinforce clients’ progress.
