About Behavioral Health Services

The Hollywood Recovery Center, run by Behavioral Health Services, Inc. (BHS), delivers a wide array of programs, including outpatient treatment for substance use disorders, mental health support, and prevention services. Outpatient care is designed around each person’s needs, typically spanning 3 to 9 months, with appointments held 1 to 5 times per week.

A key priority is relapse prevention, helping clients apply the skills and principles they learn during treatment to everyday life. Beyond substance use services, the center also provides mental health care for adults and adolescents who are dealing with difficulties that may extend past addiction. This includes evaluations and assessments by board-certified psychiatrists, medication management, and both individual and group therapy led by licensed clinicians.

By combining these services, the center works to treat co-occurring mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. The Hollywood Recovery Center also takes part in the Recovery Incentives Program, which gives Medi-Cal recipients gift cards worth up to $599 for abstaining from stimulant use, supported by negative drug test results. The goal is to offer practical encouragement that strengthens clients’ progress throughout recovery.
