About Riverside University - Day Reporting Center Indio

Across the Inland Empire, Riverside University Health System (RUHS) provides comprehensive health care services and offers outpatient treatment for mental health conditions. RUHS is accredited by both the Joint Commission and CARF.

Services are available for multiple age groups, including children, transitional age youth (16–25), adults in midlife, and seniors 60 and older, with interventions designed to match the needs of each group. A key priority is early support, including the Set-4-School initiative for children ages 0–5, which reflects the importance of helping young children get timely developmental care. RUHS can also meet with clients in their homes, particularly for older adults. The system additionally provides targeted services for pregnant and parenting individuals and for people involved in the criminal justice system.

To improve access, RUHS offers translation support across its programs, including translation into American Sign Language (ASL). Children up to age 5 may attend treatment with their parents or guardians. RUHS locations, including the Hemet Family Care Center, are wheelchair accessible.

RUHS follows a “whatever-it-takes” approach, delivering individualized assistance such as therapy, help with housing, and daily living skills training aimed at building stability and sustaining long-term recovery. Treatment may include medication support, multidimensional family therapy (MDFT), and coordination with primary care physicians to tailor care for each person.

Clients can view their treatment information during and after services through the MyChart app.
