About Maac

MAAC Project is a community-based nonprofit organization that has supported individuals and families in the San Diego area since 1965. Nosotros is their men-only residential program, helping residents address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. The facility, with 17 beds in a dormitory-style setting, provides evidence-based treatment and a therapeutic community model for Medi-Cal recipients. Nosotros delivers a range of therapies in both individual and group formats, along with psychoeducational workshops and life-skills training. They also offer employment readiness support and help connect participants to community resources, including financial assistance, 12-Step meetings, and affordable housing. Services are available in both English and Spanish, and the minimum commitment for the program is 3 months.
