About Butte County Behavioral Health

Butte County Behavioral Health provides a wide range of outpatient programs focused on mental health needs and substance use disorders for people of all ages. While many services are available to Medi-Cal beneficiaries, crisis support is offered to all members of the community regardless of insurance coverage. Their offerings include psychiatric assessments and evaluations, medication monitoring, individual, group, and family counseling, as well as medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for alcohol and opioid dependence. The center also supports specific groups, including families, pregnant women, and individuals experiencing homelessness. For more information, people can call the center Monday through Friday.
