The centre offers an exclusive private residential programme with medical oversight, including detox under professional supervision, and it accommodates only eight clients at a time to keep care highly personal. With a required minimum stay of 30 days, residents typically remain for one to three months, living within a calm therapeutic environment across Andalusian mountain villages and the nearby Mediterranean coast. Many clients finish the programme refreshed, more resilient, and ready to handle life with a steadier, healthier mindset.

At Camino Recovery, therapists with extensive clinical training work with co-occurring issues and dual diagnosis, designing each plan around the individual. A variety of evidence-based approaches are combined, such as counselling, expressive arts, education, 12-Step support, and other structured interventions. Clients receive both one-to-one and group sessions, helping them address their most relevant goals while learning from others’ experiences. Complementary holistic options are also available to support mental clarity and physical recovery, including massage, meditation, acupuncture, and supervised fitness training.

Recognising that addiction affects the whole family, Camino Recovery runs the Healing the Family workshop, a 4- or 5-day programme that helps relatives work through harm and breakdown in relationships, even when the situation feels severe. Through an emotional, yet powerful and healing process, families develop practical tools to restore trust, strengthen connections, and move forward in healthier ways.

Just half an hour from Málaga International Airport, Camino Recovery’s peaceful facility overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and the Tejeda Mountains. Guests can choose private or shared suites, each with a generous ensuite for comfort and recovery. The residence includes secure garden spaces, a palm-fringed pool for relaxation, and outdoor dining with locally sourced fresh meals. Technology is used in a structured manner, and adjustments are made when needed to balance flexibility with clinical standards.
