About LA Wellness Home inc
LA Wellness Home is a supportive, welcoming rehabilitation center that helps individuals dealing with addiction and related mental health conditions. The program includes clinically directed detox, residential treatment, outpatient services, and sober living options. Clients benefit from a mix of evidence-based and holistic approaches designed to create a complete, personalized recovery experience. During an initial consultation and addiction assessment, staff tailor a plan to each person’s needs and goals.
Throughout the day, clients spend about six hours in group therapy, typically with two sessions before lunch and two after. On Tuesdays and Fridays, attending required 12-Step meetings off-site is part of the schedule. Each week also includes two hours of one-on-one therapy: one session with an addictions counselor and another hour with the client’s therapist. The center offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to support detox and reduce withdrawal discomfort, along with round-the-clock supervision. The clinical team consists of a psychiatrist, a physician/addictionist, a full-time psychiatric nurse, RadT technicians, therapists, and counselors. Team members review progress weekly and make adjustments to treatment when necessary. Clients also receive daily medical check-ins, a weekly psychiatric evaluation, and unlimited case management during their stay.
LA Wellness Home uses therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), along with trauma-informed care. Recovery support includes in-person 12-Step meetings twice a week, with virtual meetings on Saturdays. Psychoeducation is offered for clients and their family members to help them understand addiction, mental health, and the recovery process. Families may also participate in multi-family support groups and attend weekly family therapy sessions with their loved one. After completing residential care, clients can continue care through nearby outpatient programming and remain in LA Wellness Home’s safe sober living environment for additional structure.
During treatment, clients have access to nutritious, chef-prepared meals. The center also provides weekly acupuncture and massage, and offers on-site weekend wellness activities such as yoga and sound baths, with one-hour sessions on both Saturday and Sunday. Each Sunday, group outings help clients connect with the broader Los Angeles community through activities like hikes, trips to Santa Monica beaches, museum visits, walks through botanical gardens, self-care appointments, a visit to the LA zoo, and movie outings.
