About Restoration Recovery Center

Restoration Recovery is situated near Sacramento among the foothills of the Sierra Nevada range and offers a full range of services, including medical detox, residential treatment, outpatient programs, and aftercare support. Clients are supported by experienced, qualified staff who emphasize respect and dignity while helping each person work toward a healthier future through an individualized treatment plan.

The center’s medical detox is designed for people with physical dependence on alcohol or opioids. It includes 3 to 5 days of medically supervised detox, using medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help reduce withdrawal discomfort and cravings. After detox, clients transition into residential care.

In residential treatment, Restoration Recovery focuses on addiction alongside co-occurring mental health conditions. Programming combines trauma-informed approaches with evidence-based, experiential, and holistic methods. Residents participate in regular individual and group therapy sessions and may also join supervised experiential activities, such as equine therapy. The program also includes spiritual care through a Christian-based track. Throughout treatment, clients stay in a safe, comfortable, home-like setting that encourages long-term recovery and builds a supportive peer community.

Residential services are also well-suited for executives and professionals. Flexible technology policies and internet access allow residents to handle work or personal responsibilities during evening hours and on weekends. Clients may bring personal devices such as laptops, cell phones, or tablets, and the center provides phones and fax machines for use as needed.

Restoration Recovery provides a complete continuum of care that continues beyond residential and detox services. Day treatment (PHP) delivers intensive daytime support while clients live at home or in a sober living environment. PHP typically provides about 30 hours of clinical care each week, usually over 5 days, and commonly lasts 30 to 90 days. From there, clients may step down from residential care, or begin with day treatment or intensive outpatient services when 24/7 monitoring is not required.

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) is the lowest level of care and offers fewer treatment hours focused on reinforcing newly developed life skills and coping strategies. IOP at Restoration Recovery provides approximately 9 to 12 hours of treatment weekly, with a typical commitment ranging from 60 days to as long as a year.

Aftercare services continue the support through ongoing professional guidance and peer connection. Relapse prevention helps clients strengthen coping tools, recognize triggers, and reduce relapse risk. Continued access to individual counseling and group therapy supports ongoing emotional and mental well-being as clients progress in recovery.
