About Youth Home

Youth Home, Inc., founded in 1966, is a nonprofit facility providing psychiatric care in Little Rock, Arkansas. Its mission is to help young people, adults, and families build stronger lives and become more active, healthy members of their communities through caring emotional and behavioral healthcare.

Youth Home provides a range of services, including a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) for youth under the custody of the Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) and an Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT) Program. Together, these programs support teens ages 12 to 17 who face significant mental health difficulties such as reactive attachment disorder (RAD), anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD/ADD, and OCD. Treatment is reinforced by an award-winning Recreational Therapy Program, along with an on-site education program recognized by the Arkansas Department of Education. With a 4-to-1 client-to-caregiver ratio, residents receive focused, individualized attention.

Beyond residential treatment, Youth Home also runs an outpatient clinic named Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas. This clinic delivers services to families, parents, couples, and individuals of all ages. It includes a school-based therapy option designed to help children whose behavioral, emotional, and social challenges interfere with learning and academic progress. Youth Home is also accredited by The Joint Commission.
