About Little Creek Behavioral Health

Little Creek Behavioral Health is a residential treatment program located in Conway, Arkansas, focused on mental health and behavioral challenges for teenagers ages 12 to 18. The center uses an evidence-based, trauma-informed model and emphasizes supportive, compassionate care. Core services include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), instruction in life skills, and structured meditation and mindfulness practices.

In addition, Little Creek Behavioral Health offers school-based education through certified special education teachers for six hours each weekday. To keep learning consistent with developmental needs, students are assigned to classrooms according to age and follow an age-appropriate curriculum. As of May 2023, the center accepts only clients who live outside the state of Arkansas.

Little Creek Behavioral Health also operates Deaf Connections, a specialized program for children and adolescents ages 6 through 17 who are deaf or hard of hearing. This program ensures hearing-impaired youth receive the same mental health and behavioral disorder treatment as hearing peers, with appropriate accommodations and adaptations. Deaf Connections is led by licensed professionals who have hearing loss, working alongside additional hearing staff. The typical length of participation is approximately 6 to 12 months.
