About Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders
Rosewood Ranch focuses on helping teenagers between 12 and 17 recover from eating disorders. Rosewood Ranch provides inpatient treatment and round-the-clock residential support for adolescents dealing with anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. Its dual diagnosis program is designed to address additional challenges such as substance use, mood disorders, and other mental health conditions that may occur at the same time. Rosewood Ranch is also the only program in the country that combines medical detox with acute care services. Rosewood therapy is centered on creating a sense of safety, comfort, and belonging for each teen. Treatment sessions each day may include individual counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), art therapy, music therapy, nutrition support, equine therapy, family therapy, and yoga. Programming at Rosewood also includes an on-site school, a strong ongoing family involvement program, supervised and balanced meals, psycho-educational groups, body image work, and practical life skills training.
Set on 13 acres in the Sonoran desert, Rosewood Ranch offers stunning views of the Bradshaw Mountains. The setting is meant to balance independence with consistent structure and activities. Residents can take advantage of an on-site pool, dance classes, hiking opportunities, and a ropes course. Rosewood Ranch is known for its many positive reviews, and Rebecca says, “I recommend Rosewood to everyone who is struggling with an eating disorder, especially if you are struggling with other things such as trauma and anxiety. Rosewood staff know how to help you and will be there for you 100% along your journey!”
