About Community Medical Services
Community Medical Services (CMS) delivers outpatient care for individuals living with opioid use disorder (OUD). At the Show Low clinic, skilled clinicians provide respectful, supportive treatment and rely on proven, research-based practices to encourage long-term recovery. CMS works to restore patients’ stability and strengthen overall well-being by offering a comprehensive treatment approach. Located near Highway 260, the clinic is easy for clients across southern Navajo County to reach, and on-site parking is available.
The Show Low clinic provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using FDA-approved options such as Suboxone, Naltrexone, and Methadone to help lessen cravings and make withdrawal symptoms more manageable. In addition to MAT, patients participate in both one-on-one and group counseling, where therapists use evidence-based strategies to build practical, healthy coping skills.
CMS also includes peer support specialists—people with firsthand recovery experience—who offer encouragement and insight throughout the program. By integrating medical treatment, counseling, and peer support, CMS offers a balanced, whole-person approach to opioid recovery.
