About Rising Phoenix Wellness Services

Rising Phoenix Wellness Services focuses on helping people who are dealing with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and conditions that occur together. Based on best practices and evidence from research, a complete, sustained clinical approach is most effective for supporting lasting recovery. For this reason, our care model is designed to meet clients where they are, starting treatment either through the Outpatient (OP) level of care or the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) level of care. In addition, our integrated model includes OP psychiatric services. Our program also supports ongoing connection with clinical staff and peers after treatment ends. Rising Phoenix combines five care elements to support healing across the mind, body, and spirit, setting us apart from many other outpatient options. These elements are weekly group therapy, weekly individual therapy, case management and coaching, wellness programming such as yoga and nutrition, and psychiatric and medical services.

Clients often bring a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, along with psychosocial stressors, family-of-origin concerns, trauma, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss, experiences of marginalization, and struggles with coping when distress increases. Despite these differences, they share the need for a steady, supportive, and secure setting to move toward recovery. Because of this, we provide specialized programming for young adults, professionals who have been impacted in their work functioning, and gender-responsive groups.

Our structured group services are available to IOP participants at least 3 to 5 days each week. Group sessions are offered in a supportive setting during mornings, evenings, and weekends. Each program includes both psychoeducational groups and process-based groups, tailored to the needs of the participants. After finishing the IOP, clients may transition to OP within RPWS to continue with additional outpatient counseling, with 1 to 2 days per week devoted to formal group work. Our long-term treatment structure is built to support a smooth step-down into less intensive care.
