About BHG Huntsville Treatment Center
Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is a major provider of outpatient addiction care, working closely with referral partners to help people recover from opioid use. Using practices supported by research, BHG’s multidisciplinary team combines medication-assisted treatment (MAT), clinical counseling, and coordinated wraparound support, shaped around each patient’s individual needs, goals, and recovery plan.
BHG operates 114 treatment centers across 22 states, making it the largest Joint Commission-accredited outpatient treatment network in the United States. Its wide footprint helps ensure that high-quality, standardized care is delivered at every location, reaching more than 43,000 patients each day. Published results indicate that 92% of patients report better quality of life and mental well-being, 83% note reduced substance use, and 45% obtain employment during their first year in treatment.
BHG is also part of the 4.2% of providers nationwide that offer all three FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder, along with counseling and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) at specific sites. This whole-person model is designed to improve engagement in treatment, lower opioid use, reduce risky behaviors, and strengthen long-term recovery.
